In the cold light of day, this is what I bring to the table.
I am solid middle class. I have a thriving career in engineering with a stable income that would allow me to support a family—with no other financial contributions required.
Currently living in a small town and working remotely. I could relocate anywhere in Ontario—and maybe in Canada—and keep my job.
I am single with no ties: I have neither kids and nor former partners hovering around.

I am honest and have become more open, outspoken, and assertive in recent years in confronting my family of origin on several issues that I kept buried for far too long. I have become acutely aware that integrity is either a lifestyle or nothing more than an empty word. I struggle to uphold the former.
I tilt towards introversion by I am capable of and eager to have deep and nourishing conversations.
Got a good sense of humor and a taste for old limericks.

I have my fair share of emotional baggage that I carried with me for decades. I believe I have dealt with it—most of it—and gained a good degree of self-knowledge in the process. What’s left won’t stand in the way of a functional relationship.
